A graduate in administration and information technology, Daniel Lucier has been Director of Credit at various private companies, as well as Administrator at the Société de l’Île Notre-Dame in Montréal. He also worked as Assistant Advisor in a company that brings together actuaries and human resources professionals and offers consulting services in the area of pensions and group insurance.
Elected municipal councillor in 2005 and re-elected in 2009 and in 2013, Daniel Lucier chairs the finance committee and the retirement committee. He is, among other things, a member of the city’s planning committee, the priorities committee and the urban planning advisory committee. At the Longueuil Urban Agglomeration, he is a member of the budget, finance and administration commission.
Actively engaged in the Brossard community, especially in the area of sports and recreation, Councillor Lucier was for many years President and Treasurer of the Association récréative des jeunes de Brossard (ARJB) and the Club de ski Okpik Brossard. His community service was recognized by a Brossard Order of Merit award.
A resident of Brossard since 1962, he is the father of two children and grandfather of two girls.
