François Boucher loves his city and is happy there with his family. He appreciates the tight, rigorous management of Paul Leduc’s Priorité Brossard team and wants to contribute to ensuring its longevity.
“I think I’ll be able to participate in my own way, mainly in terms of sustainable development. There are some great major projects to be carried out over the next few years in Brossard and the region. Whether it’s the future REM regional train system, the new Champlain Bridge, transport electrification or new environmental rules and standards, I want Brossard to remain a leader in the field of sustainable development. Our residents can contribute, and our civic administration must contribute. ”
Winner of the Brossard Order of Merit for his environmental work at the local, regional and national levels, François Boucher was the driving force behind the adoption of new provincial legislation aimed at increasing the number of zero emission vehicles (Bill 104).
An alumnus of the HEC graduate program in management, François Boucher also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. He specializes in computing and telecommunications and has worked in the education field as a teacher, manager, engineer and analyst. Since 2007, he has been employed by the University of Québec at Montréal (UQAM) as a specialist computer analyst.
