Pierre O’Donoughue retired after a successful career in sales and customer service. A seasoned promoter, he represented various suppliers of construction materials, notably in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Pierre O’Donoughue was first elected as a Councillor in Brossard in 1990. He left the political scene but returned to run successfully in the 2005 elections. Brossard residents expressed their confidence in him again in 2009 and 2013.
He is the chair of the Comité de la politique de reconnaissance et de soutien des organismes, which recognizes and support community organizations. He sits on the board of directors of the Corporation des biens culturels and the city’s planning and finance committees.
His innate sense of public relations and his ability to listen carefully have earned him great respect from residents, not only from his district but across the entire city.
A talented sportsman, he is particularly involved with Brossard sports and recreation organizations, as an organizer, member and participant.
A resident of Brossard since 1980, he is married and has one son.
