Xixi Li is one of the most dynamic and involved women in the community.
Director General of the Chinese Family Service of Greater Montréal and Director General of the south shore Sino-Québec centre for over 15 years, Xixi Li is totally dedicated to integrating newcomers from the Chinese community into the Brossard community and Greater Montréal.
Xixi Li has lived in Brossard for almost 20 years. She holds an MBA from the University of Québec with a specialization in business management, as well as a certification in immigration and intercultural relations.
On the community level, Xixi Li is truly a model of social commitment, sharing and solidarity. It is precisely these values that she wants to put to work for her fellow Brossard residents. And she wants to do that with Paul Leduc and his team because, she says, the openness that Mayor Leduc has always demonstrated toward the different communities that have chosen to live in Brossard corresponds exactly to her deepest and most sincere values.
After having served as a volunteer on the Board of Directors of the Montréal Chinese Hospital, the Brossard intercultural committee, the Board of Directors of the CSSS Jeanne Mance and the Governing Board of Antoine-Brossard school, not to mention the Comité Femme égalité et mouvement, the women’s equality and mobility committee of the Longueuil regional conference of elected officials, Xixi Li believes that the time has now come to put her shoulder to the wheel at the political level, to ensure that Brossard remains a shining example of coexistence and intercultural integration.
In the past few years, Xixi Li received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. She was honoured for her volunteer work by Montréal as well as by Brossard, which awarded her the Order of Merit for her exceptional commitment.
